Richard died in 1907 when Mary Gottschalk was only 7 (see was born on sep 20th 1899) she had a brother Raymond born on Mar 15th 1894.
In the 1920's census Mary Gottschalk was living with her grandfather J S Crump and her mother Molly (grandmother Emma Weber had died in 1917 and grandfather John would die later that year too)
